It's never too early to begin training your puppy. For puppies 8-16 weeks.  Introduction of basic obedience skills and vocabulary including "Sit, Come, Down, Stay" and controlled walking on leash.  Class is very informal with a focus on positive motivation and socialization.

You MUST present current shot records to start of classes.  The most recent inoculation must have been given by a licensed veterinarian.

BASIC OBEDIENCE LEVEL 1

6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

BASIC OBEDIENCE LEVEL 2

6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Cost: $90 per 6 wk session
 starting March 2, 2010

Ahhh...this is my favorite trick!Dogs must be at least 5 months old for obedience classes.  Class emphasizes getting and keeping your dog's attention so that it can be trained effectively.  In this class we will work on the commands: "Sit, Come, Down, Stay" on leash.

RALLY OBEDIENCE

7:15 to 8:15 p.m.

Cost: $90 per 6 wk session
starting March 2, 2010

Rally Obedience is lots of fun!Heeling is basic to all dog training sports but Rally Obedience goes beyond this by interspersing over forty obedience movements with the sits, turns and paces of traditional heeling. It also requires a brisk pace, positive and happy demeanor. Rally is not for those who desire an effortless activity that is fun and games. It is not simple or easy but if you enjoy working with your dog in a challenging partnership that will improve heeling and teamwork, and which develops great control over the dog, and then Rally is for you.

One great beauty of Rally is the courses can be designed so that dogs in all levels of training may participate. Our beginner’s course includes heel positioning, sits aided by the handler, turning paces, a sit stay and elements of the recall. As the dog gains skill, more difficult courses are designed which will improve advanced obedience or agility performances.

CONFORMATION
